Artist Bedding "Kobo" by Elisa Bortolussi

Named after the now-obsolete Nigerian coin, "Kobo" captures the vibrant energy of the city’s bustling markets. Captivated by the colorful Ankara fabrics worn by locals Bortolussi purchased a handful of nails for a few Kobo and later used them to weave geometric patterns reminiscent of the fabric. This design is a tribute to the rich textures and patterns of Nigeria, blending traditional craft with modern design.
