Alexej is inspired by the captivating series of paintings by Alexej Von Jawlensky's (1864-1941) “Abstrakter Kopf” (1918-1935). Gabriele and Werner Merzbacher Collection, on permanent load at the Kunsthaus Zurich.
Among the many art styles Jawlensky explored during his active working years, Cubism is one he particularly took interest in.
